VS0014 Monocrystalline Silicon Alkaline Etching is an additive used in the alkaline polishing process of photovoltaic silicon wafers. VS0014 Monocrystalline Silicon Alkaline Etching primarily contains surfactants, polishing catalysts, and silicon protectants.

During the alkaline polishing process of silicon wafers, VS0014 Monocrystalline Silicon Alkaline Etching removes inorganic substances and residual byproducts from the wafer surface, enhancing surface wettability. It accelerates the bonding between the alkaline solution and the wafer surface, reduces the interfacial energy between the solution and the wafer, increases the selectivity of the alkaline solution toward the wafer, and improves the reflectivity after polishing.
