Application of Cement defoamer

Cement defoamer is widely used in the production of cement mortar, water reducing agent, concrete, grout, asbestos tile, calcium silicate board, putty powder, mineral slurry, reinforcing agent, water reducing agent and other building materials industry products.

Cement defoamer introduction

Cement Defoamer is a high-performance defoaming agent formulated using polyether and other functional components. It exhibits excellent stability and defoaming efficiency even under strongly acidic or alkaline conditions.

At a system pH of 14, many conventional silicone defoamers suffer from emulsion breakage, oil bleaching, and loss of physical stability. This not only weakens or completely eliminates their defoaming performance but also causes unexpected negative impacts on subsequent production processes.

In contrast, RISE Cement Defoamer maintains excellent physical stability under such harsh conditions, with no emulsion breaking or oil separation. It delivers even stronger defoaming and long-lasting foam inhibition compared to performance at normal temperatures. It acts quickly to eliminate foam and provides sustained foam control over an extended period.

This defoamer is particularly suitable for the following scenarios:

1. Concrete mixtures with high water demand and a high water-cement ratio.

2. Concrete with improperly sized aggregates and an excessive content of elongated or flaky particles.

3. Concrete with poor gradation, where coarse aggregate is excessive and fine aggregate is insufficient.

Usage and Precautions

1. Dosage: The recommended addition rate of the defoamer ranges from 0.05% to 0.3%, and can be adjusted according to the specific application system and on-site conditions.

2. Packing: The product is supplied in 25 kg, 200 kg, or 1000 kg plastic drums.

3. Storage: Keep sealed in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated indoor area. Ensure the container is tightly closed before and after use. The shelf life is 12 months when stored at around 25°C.

4. Transportation: During transportation, the product must remain tightly sealed to avoid contamination from moisture, strong acids, strong alkalis, rainwater, or other impurities.
